Specifications include, but are not limited to: Software and Implementation Services for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to solicit Proposals from Respondents capable of satisfying the City of Wilmington’s (City) needs for software and professional services to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). . In doing so, the City seeks to address several challenges in the current environment, including but not limited to: Multiple City Departments are using MS Excel and manual processes to track information outside of HTE. Duplicate data entry is required for multiple core business functions. The inability to attach documents to transactions within the current system is something that was reported to be challenging in most functional areas. Workflow functionality is not meeting all City needs. Numerous third-party applications exist outside of HTE. There is limited integration between HTE and other City systems. The ability to import information from spreadsheets and export information to spreadsheets is challenging in the current systems. Many City Departments are using paper forms to support key processes that could be fully automated in a future system. Integration with GIS is nearly non-existent in the current systems environment.
