Description

The Train Depot is located at 421 Court Street in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is a staple of the Riverwalk Crossing Park in downtown Jacksonville. The Train Depot is an older brick building accompanied by an orange boxcar on a section of tracks. The roof of the facility was damaged by Hurricane Florence in September of 2018 and is in need of repairs. The City would like to repair the interior damages and upgrade the damaged shingled roof to a standing seam metal roof. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is being sought from each architectural or engineering firm that is qualified to and interested in assisting the City of Jacksonville in assessing the damages, producing a cost opinion for upgrades/repairs, and providing technical specifications for completing identified work.
