Food Waste Recycling - Food Waste Recycling complete with Toters, Disposal and Recycling

The Village of Rye Brook intends to provide a residential Food-waste drop-off facility in the parking lot of Village Hall located at 938 King Street, Rye Brook, NY 10573. It is anticipated that the program will commence on June 1, 2018 with the first pickup to be in the week of June 3, 2018.
The facility will consist of up to 10-(wheeled) toters up to 65 gallons each. Toters will be provided and are owned by the Village.
The responsible respondent to this RFP will be required to provide the following to the Village of Rye Brook:

• Weekly pickup ( every week including holidays) of any type of food waste and compostable products( including but not limited to compostable bags) using a fully sealed truck
• Insurance as required
• Certified payroll as per NYS Department of Labor
• Monthly Manifest tickets from a licensed composting facility
• Letter from a licensed composting facility that they will accept the food-waste from the Village of Rye Brook
• Contractor must provide written guarantee that the food-waste collected from the Village of Rye Brook is in fact being disposed of at the licensed composting facility
• Contractor must provide an annual report reflecting weight of food waste collected from the Village of Rye Brook
• The Village of Rye Brook will process payments on a monthly basis for services rendered
• Contractor must be licensed to haul food-waste by Westchester County and any other agencies as required by law.
