Summary of Specifications:
The Village of Rye Brook requests pricing/proposals for an inspection / testing firm to provide field inspections and monitoring of its paving operations. Pricing shall include all necessary fees complete as listed below: Field Inspector overseeing placement of pavement. Inspector shall test compaction with nuclear density gauge, temperature and provide guidance to contractor as needed. Plant Inspector overseeing the composition and mixing of asphalt and comparing to specifications in the bid document. Plant will be Peckham Industries in Port Chester. The Village is limiting RAP to 10% Max. A copy of the Villages paving contract will be provided Roads being milled and paved are Parkwood Drive, Lawridge Drive, Dorchester Drive, Sleepy Hollow Drive, Boxwood, Robins Roost and Eagles Bluff
