Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Furnish and install all carpentry work as shown on the Drawings, specified herein, or as directed by the Engineer to execute the work in a workmanlike manner. B. Work shall include but shall not be limited to the following: 1. Installation or replacement of T111 Siding 2. Rough fascia, soffits and supports. 3. Plywood sheathing for roof deck and exterior walls 4. Insulation of ceilings and walls. 5. Gypsum board ceilings. 6. Finish trim including ceiling perimeter trim. 7. Miscellaneous wood blocking, bridging, straping, bracing and nailers. 8. Any other item of carpentry work necessary to complete the project. 3.0 MATERIALS 3.1 All Structural lumber shall be sound stock, delivered dry, and shall be Construction Grade Douglas Fir, Southern Pine or Ponderosa Pine. Wood members that will contact masonry or concrete shall be pressure treated in accordance with the requirements of the Standard Specifications of the American Wood Preservers Association for treating wood. 3.2 Lumber for exposed interior and exterior use shall be Northern or Idaho white pine, Grade "C" or better, of high quality, free of defects and clear of knots. 3.3 Wood plates at top of masonry walls shall be pressure treated wood, 3.4 Plywood shall be nominal thickness ½”, 5/8” or 3/4", grade APA rated sheathing, span rating 48/24, with exterior glue for roof deck construction. 3.5 Nails, spikes, screws, bolts, nuts and washers where sizes are not indicated or specified, shall be of suitable size and number as approved to securely fasten and hold members in place.
