Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1 Contractor shall provide real-time English-language rollup style Closed Captioning services. 5.2 Contractor shall provide required real-time Spanish-language rollup style Closed Captioning. 5.3 Contractor shall provide real-time captioning in CEA-708 and CEA-608 formats. 5.4 Contractor shall generate and stream captioning data via IP to CUNY TV’s captioning encoder (currently an Evertz 7825CCE-AUD-3G), received as a real-time audio via IP or POTS. 5.5 Contractor shall provide offline subtitle translation from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English, producing a webvtt from an mp4. 5.6 Contractor shall participate in ongoing coordination with CUNY TV’s Captioning Coordinator to establish a schedule of captioning services. 5.7 Contractor shall communicate with CUNY TV’s Master Control Room to verify audio and captioning connectivity, transmission quality, and to confirm service. 5.8 Contractor shall coordinate with CUNY TV to receive and apply CUNY TV’s captioning preferences such as line placement, line wrapping, roll-up vs pop-on, and other captioning characteristics.
