Description

The purpose of this bid is to establish prices for the Transportation of Children with Disabilities (ages 18 months to 5 years) who receive services in connection with Ulster County’s Department of Social Services Preschool and Early Intervention Programs to and from their assigned schools.

The County of Ulster intends to contract with one or more qualified transportation companies to provide specialized transportation as mandated by NYSED for approximately 180 Preschoolers with Disabilities to approximately 20 school sites within Ulster County and its bordering counties.

It is the goal of the County to further streamline the operation resulting in additional efficiencies and cost effectiveness.
