The County of Dutchess (County) requires sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide as needed mechanical and auto body repair, and painting/ decals/ refinishing work unable to be performed at County facilities primarily responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance. These services include repairs predominantly to SUVs, trucks, and transit buses (Class 1 - 8* TRAA ID Guide, Attachment A) and shall include engine, transmission, drive train, heat/air conditioning, bodywork, painting/ decals/ and refinishing. Awarded vendors (Contractors) shall supply all labor, equipment, parts, and materials necessary to perform these services at their facilities. Work may be performed at Dutchess County Public Transit’s (DCPT) garage provided the vendor comes equipped with all tools and specialized equipment needed to perform the work. It is the County’s intention to make multiple awards for the services detailed herein.
