Software Application for Planning, Permitting, Licensing, Housing, Constituency Services, and Asset Management
The City of Yonkers is seeking proposals from vendors or authorized resellers to supply and implement a Building and Housing Off-the-Shelf (OTS) software to satisfy the City of Yonkers business and technical requirements. The implementation of the software will be directly through the vendor or authorized partners who have high levels of experience with similar implementations in municipal government sectors. The majority of project work will take place at the City of Yonkers office in 87 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers, NY.
The City of Yonkers would like to leverage functionality within the software to replace and enhance functionality provided by existing systems as well as automate existing manual activities and minimize the number of applications required to facilitate its permitting, housing, licensing, and constituency services processes. The solution should support ensure efficient, best-in-class processes, maximizing the return on investment.
The City of Yonkers is striving to utilize a single software solution to deliver on the planning, permitting, housing, licensing, constituency services, and asset management for these functional areas; Department of Housing and Buildings, Constituency Services, Engineering, and Planning. A high-level overview of each of these areas within scope is outlined below. However, it is important to note that if vendors determine that their solutions cannot meet all the requirements specified for the these areas, but can address the main area of Housing and Buildings, then only a proposal need be provided for that Housing and Buildings.
In absence of a single software solution being able to satisfy all requirements (and where multiple software systems are required), the solutions to be utilized must be tightly integrated, permitting the automated transfer of data and synchronization as required, with appropriate data integrity checks.
