I. Overview. The County of Orange (“County”), by and through its Office of the District Attorney (“DA’s Office”), seeks qualified individuals and/or entities to provide sexual assault examination (“SAE”) coordinator (“Coordinator”) services (“Contractor”). The Contractor shall cause the Coordinator to work in collaboration with the DA’s Office, area hospitals, including Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, New York (“ORMC”), St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital at its Newburgh and Cornwall, New York Campuses, Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, New York, and St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick, New York (each individually an “Area Hospital” and collectively, the “Area Hospitals”, local law enforcement organizations, and the courts (collectively, the “SAE Program Response Team”) to ensure effective delivery of services to victims of sexual assault and secondary victims of sexual assault (collectively “SA Victims”).
