The project includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction for streetscape and utility improvements and green infrastructure along the two northern blocks of Ramsey Place to separate stormwater from the combined sewer system. The project includes, but is not limited to, narrowing the existing paved road, widening the street tree planting areas, adding underground stormwater storage, installing porous concrete pavers and drainage structures, restoring sidewalks and roadways, and making water and sewer infrastructure improvements. Existing hazardous street trees will be removed and new trees will be planted. The project also includes trenchless replacement of lead water service lines with copper services when necessary along Ramsey Place.
All work, with the exception of milling and paving, striping, and traffic signal work is to reach Substantial Completion by October 1, 2019 and Final Completion by October 15, 2019. Milling and paving, striping, and traffic signal work is to reach Substantial Completion by November 15, 2019 and Final Completion by November 30, 2019.
