31923.02 - Highbridge Pump Station Improvements

The Project generally consists of the following work:
Provide a standby generator at two existing pump stations located along Highbridge Road that are referred to as Highbridge (Spectrum) Pump Station and Kings Road Pump Station. At Highbridge (Spectrum) Pump Station, provide temporary bypass; disconnect and remove existing pumps and rails; clean the wet well; install new rails and pumps; and perform final connection and startup.
Both pump stations shall remain accessible throughout construction. Provide protection of existing utilities and coordination with utility companies; maintenance and protection of traffic; obtain Schenectady County Highway Work Permit; coordination with local residents and businesses; site restoration; and record drawings.
A bid alternate will include approximately 3,950 linear feet of forcemain pigging for the Highbridge (Spectrum) existing forcemain.
