It is the intent of these specifications to have a Contractor available on an “as-needed” basis for various emergency bridge repairs. In addition to the bridgework, these specifications may also be used for general concrete repairs on Essex County buildings and properties. The nature of the repairs may vary. Essex County anticipates bridge abutment repairs, scour repairs, wingwall repairs, cut off wall installation, bridge deck repairs and bridge rail repairs. The term of this contract will be from April 1, 2020, thru and including March 31, 2021, with the option to renew annually for up to an additional two (2) years by mutual agreement.
