A. Project Identification: Exterior Cleaning and Waterproofing

Sands Drive, Canandaigua, NY.
B. Owner: Ontario County/ Finger Lakes Community College
1. Owner's Representative: Catherine Ahern, Director of Buildings and Grounds
C. Architect: T.Y. Lin International, 255 East Ave. Rochester, NY 14604
D. The Work consists of the following:
1. Provide exterior waterproofing, cleaning, and repair to exterior concrete façade.
2. Provide cleaning, repair and resurfacing to exterior insulation and finish system façade.
3. Removal and replacement of sealant joints.
4. Provide masonry cleaning, pointing, and waterproofing and misc. flashing and painting.
E. The project work shall be constructed under a two prime construction contracts.
1. Construction Contract No. 1 – EIFS Repair and Resurfacing
2. Construction Contract No. 2 – Concrete Cleaning, Repair and Waterproofing
F. Prime Contract work: The Contract Documents indicate the extent of the Prime Contract.
Except where the Contract Documents contain a more specific description, general names and
terminology on the Drawings and in the Specification Sections determine which Prime Contract
includes a specific element of the Project.
