20-040720-3 - Elevator: Inspection and Service Repair

The Connetquot Central School District invites sealed bids for qualified vendors to the provision for monthly safety inspections, and annual service contract of minor and/or major repairs not covered under service contract for thirteen (13) elevators at nine (9) locations Districtwide from experienced elevator mechanics.  Mechanics must have at least five years of full-time satisfactory experience in repair and maintenance of electrical or electromechanical control systems, or electrical, hydraulic or mechanical components as an elevator mechanic and a minimum of 30 hours of OSHA training.
Apprentice must have completed at least 2.5 years of a 5-year apprenticeship program including a mixture of classroom lessons and on-the-job training to be qualified and a minimum of 10 hours of OSHA training.
