RFP 2018-01 - Comprehensive Plan for the City of Watertown, New York

The City of Watertown is requesting proposals from qualified planning consultants to provide professional services related to the preparation of the City’s first Comprehensive Plan.  The City was awarded a Strategic Planning and Feasibility Studies grant from Empire State Development, which, along with a local match, will be used to pay for the plan.  Interested firms should have experience with landuse planning, transportation, economic development, public involvement processes and possess the ability to apply and effectively present innovative planning concepts to policy makers and the general public.  The selected consultant shall be responsible for completing all the actions listed in the “Scope of Work” section of this document.  Additional action items may be identified during the scoping process that may require adjustment of the proposed Scope of Work.  The selected consultant should be prepared to take the lead in the planning process.
