Description

Rockland County requires a modernization of its communication infrastructure and voice systems. The purpose of this RFP is to contract with a Hosted Vendor for the purposes of planning, configuring, implementing and making fully operational a cloud-based VoIP telephone system. Rockland does not have a VoIP ready network, and this procurement includes upgrading most of the data network equipment, and any associated cabling necessary to ensure reliability and quality of the new voice system.

Rockland County has two independent entities which are referred to as Rockland County (RC) and Rockland Community College (RCC) in this RFP. Each entity is managed independently from a budget and staffing standpoint, and the Offeror should treat each as subprojects. Two independent pricing quotes will be required.
