The County received LGRMIF grants for imaging work in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. In the course of these first five phases of work, 102,000 pages of material have been digitally imaged, ranging in date from 1721 to 1830. The material to be digitally imaged in the project phase now up for bid will cover a range of dates from the 1740s into the 1820s. This material is being processed by Dutchess County in as-found order. Dutchess County is seeking proposals for creating digital master images for 15,000 pages of documents from this collection. A page is defined as one side of a sheet of paper. Blank pages will be scanned in order to create digital surrogates of each original document. Master images must adhere to the New York State Archives Imaging Production Guidelines.
