Description

SCOPE:
It is the intent of this bid to acquire an AFFF testing system to be used on the existing Airport Fire Truck, which is a 2011 KME Force 1500. The testing equipment shall be of a type that is acceptable to the FAA for immediate use and easily configured to the airport’s existing ARFF vehicle. It shall meet the intent of FAA Part 139 CertAlert No 19-01, dated 1/17/19 (See Attachment “1”).

The primary purpose of the equipment shall be to test the foam proportioning system and discharge functions on a routine interval without the discharge of any AFFF to the airport environment. This bid shall be all inclusive and provide the airport with a turn-key and fully operational AFFF testing system.
