The scope of work under this RFB includes, but is not limited to, the following services associated with the installation, maintenance, and removal of City-owned holiday lighting and decorations: 1. Pre-Installation Planning o Attend a pre-season coordination meeting with designated City representatives to review installation plans, schedules, and site logistics. o Inspect all installation sites prior to setup to verify electrical availability, mounting points, and overall site readiness. o Report any damaged or missing lighting components or decorations to the City for direction before installation begins. 2. Installation Services o Provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials (e.g., lifts, hardware, electrical cords, fasteners) required to safely and properly install City-owned holiday lighting and decorations. o Ensure that all installations are completed in accordance with City specifications, local electrical codes, and safety standards. o Complete all installations as soon as possible from award date or no later than November 30th, 2025 as specified by the City to ensure a coordinated lighting launch for the holiday season. 3. Maintenance and Monitoring o Provide prompt maintenance and repair services throughout the display period, including replacement of bulbs, fuses, or faulty components as needed. o Respond to service calls from the City within an agreed-upon timeframe to address outages or safety concerns. 4. Deinstallation and Post-Season Services o Safely remove all holiday lighting and decorations after January 6th, 2026 and no later than January 15th, 2026 as specified by the City following the conclusion of the holiday season. o Inspect, clean, and prepare decorations for storage as directed by the City. o Report any damaged or missing items to City staff upon deinstallation. 9 5. General Requirements o Contractor must provide all necessary safety equipment, traffic control, and supervision for all work performed. o All work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. o The Contractor is responsible for restoring all installation areas to their original condition following removal of decorations.
