25-RFP-SDGRIS-1 - Engineering Services - Grit Removal and Influent Screen Study

Saratoga County Sewer District #1 (SCSD) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms to provide services for an evaluation of the district owned grit removal system. The current system is in need of evaluation to ensure effective grit removal for the protection of downstream treatment equipment and processes. SCSD is also considering a dry weather screen with finer screening capability, and the evaluation shall include analyzing the ability to install such a screen. Proposals will be received until 5 PM November 26th, 2025 at the Saratoga County Department of Central Services, Purchasing Division, located at 50 West High Street, Ballston Spa, New York 12020. One (1) original, two (2) copies, and one electronic copy on usb .pdf preferred of the proposal are required. A pre-proposal meeting for prospective consultants will be held at the Saratoga County Sewer District (SCSD) treatment plant, located at 1002 Hudson River Road, Mechanicville, NY 12118 at 10AM Wednesday November 12th.
