GOVERNMENT SURPLUS EQUIPMENT & AUTOMOBILE AUCTION TO BE HELD SUNDAY, AUGUST 4, 2002
Pomona, NY -- The County of Rockland will hold a surplus equipment and automobile auction on Sunday, August 4, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Dr. Robert L. Yeager Health Center, Building L - Lower Parking Lot, Sanatorium Road, Pomona, NY. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
More than 25 vehicles, trucks, vans and equipment will be available for sale, including: 1993 Ford Passenger Van. 1993 Chevy Utility, 1958 FWD Sno-Go, 1993 Jeep Cherokee, 1983 FWD Dump Truck, 1991 Chevy 3-yd. Dump, 1985 CAT Loader, 1986 JCB Backhoe, 1965 15-Ton Crane, (2) 1988 Wood Chuck Chippers, (2) Galion Rollers and many more.
Over one hundred pieces of surplus office furniture and equipment from the Rockland County Courthouse will be available including desks, filing cabinets, chairs, and tables.
The auction will be conducted by Scherrer Auctions. A 10% buyer's premium will be in effect. All items are sold as-is, with no warranties or returns. Payment must be made in cash or by personal check at the time of sale. All items purchased must be taken at the time of sale, or picked up no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2002.
