RFB-192 - RFB-192 One (1) 2005 or Newer Refuse Truck

It is the intent of City of Elmira to purchase One (1) 2005 or Newer Refuse Truck meeting the specifications set forth herein and to award the bid to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive total gross sum bid . This equipment shall include all of the manufacturer’s standard options as well as any additional options to meet the intended use of the equipment and these specifications.
 
The technical specifications are based upon a generic type and quality of One (1) 2005 or Newer Refuse Truck. The specifications are not intended to exclude any product, manufacturer, or vendor, but to describe the minimum quality and operational functions required. Equipment which meet or exceed the minimum specifications and provided equivalent functions will be considered.
