The Board of Education of the Catskill Central School District, Catskill New York, invites proposals for
 
 

Construction Management Service 
 
Request for Proposal is obtainable either at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york, or the Business Office 347 W Main Street, Catskill, New York, during business hours. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked on the outside
 
“Proposal for Construction Management Service
 
 
and be in the hands of the School Business Official , in the Business Office, Catskill,  347 W Main Street, Catskill, New York, prior to 2:00 p.m. on
 
 
January 7, 2019
 
The proposals will be tabulated and presented to the Board of Education for action shortly thereafter. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposal, waive informalities and accept the one appearing to be in the best interest of the School District.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Catskill Central School District
Request for Proposal – Construction Management Service
I. Introduction:
The Catskill Central School District (The District) hereby requests proposals from Construction Management firms (CM) to assist the District with possible construction of building additions and capital improvements on various school buildings. This request has been reissued due to performance of the original accepted proposer which was deemed unacceptable.  The district has adopted a resolution to conduct a bond referendum with a public vote. The bond referendum is for a total amount of $40,795,000.  The total list of items is included here as Appendix J
 
Referendum vote is February 12 2019. 
The District is interested in a pro-active and hands-on CM team that will partner with the District and BBS Architects, to insure that the project is of high quality, is completed on time and on budget. It is essential that your proposal emphasize your firm’s and the project team’s experience with projects governed by the municipal laws of New York State. 
 
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the District to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.
 
To be considered, one original, marked as original, plus six (6) copies of a proposal must be received by the School Business Official by 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 2019  The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
