Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Generate, review, and submit required reports to the United States Federal Highway and Administration Department (FHWA) including, but not limited to the FHWA551M, FHWA-556, FHWA-561, FHWA-562, FHWA-566 and FHWA-571 reports. 2. Facilitate the acquisition and quality improvement of data necessary for FHWA’s reporting and the Department’s revenue forecasting by working with the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, Department of Finance and Administration, Legislative Finance Committee, and other parties. 3. Document data requirements and recommend database improvements and software enhancements as necessary for reporting, forecasting, and revenue analysis and evaluate implementation of data production. 4. Perform special projects, to include but not be limited to: short and long term NMDOT revenue forecasts; legislative bill analysis; revenue tracking and reporting; preparing and presenting reports as requested by legislative committees; generating written and oral reports detailing the history of New Mexico’s transportation related legislation, regulations, rulings, and administrative actions; and developing other ad hoc reports for the New Mexico State Transportation Commission and NMDOT executive management related to transportation revenues and the New Mexico economy
