Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility (ADF) requests bids for the purpose of procuring a licensed contractor to remove and install seven (7) doors at the ADF. This project must be completed in Sixty (60) days. Doors labeled E-3, E-113, E-115, E115A, and A-724 are in high security locations. Individually, each of these doors must be completely replaced and fully functional within the same work day. Paint and other aesthetics may be completed at a later date within the Sixty (60) day period. Inclement weather may be a determining factor in expediting finishing touches that if left exposed may cause damage. The Adult Detention Facility is a production facility so minimizing downtime is essential. Santa Fe County will provide laborers to move appliances and furniture to speed the installation process and minimize downtime. • Contractor to conduct a site assessment of the project area(s) with County staff to review the project location(s) and conditions. • Contractor shall be responsible to obtain any and all required permits for the work. • The work includes the removal and replacement of the following doors and frames respectively. • During construction, contractor shall provide dust protection in portion of interior work area to provide a dust free and safe environment. • The seven door replacements will include the refinish of all surfaces disturbed during removal and replacement including the outer stucco walls and the painting of all walls to match. Thresholds and closures will be replaced where applicable. Signage will be repainted as found prior to the replacement if necessary. • Provide correctional grade door locks. • Provide any necessary weather stripping around doors as required. • All work to comply with current ICC Commercial building Code and local codes. • Upon completion Contractor shall ensure work area is left clean, free of debris and ready to occupy.
