Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Clean interior and exterior of the buses and trolleys on Sunday each week. The transit system operates Monday through Saturday. b. Clean shelters and remove trash on a weekly basis. c. Respond to any “emergency” bus, trolley and/or shelter cleanings on an as needed basis within four (4) hours of request. Emergency responses may include glass pickup, graffiti removal and, in some cases, cleaning up biohazards such as blood and other body fluids. Awarded vendor will be expected to follow all federal, state, and local safety regulations outlined in the Contractor Safety Certification, Form AF-26. d. Provide all equipment and supplies needed to perform these services. e. The City anticipates receiving Federal Transit Authority (FTA) Section 5307 program grant funding to cover a portion of this service. Awarded contractor is required to comply with all applicable FTA rules, regulations, and requirements.
