ITB-13-14-001 - 150# Chlorine Cylinders Price Agreement

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Las Cruces is soliciting bids from vendors to provide 100% chlorine in 150# chlorine cylinders. Estimated annual maximum usage is 650 full cylinders and will be ordered on an as needed basis at approximately 15 cylinders at a time. Cylinders will be ordered bi-weekly and weekly during the summer months. The City shall be billed only for actual chlorine ordered and delivered. This chlorine is used for disinfecting in compliance with New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) and Safe Drinking Water Act requirements. Contract is anticipated to be for a base period of one year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year terms at the discretion of the City.
