Summary of Specifications:
The City of Clovis is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors to upgrade, repair, and maintain an existing 180-foot telecommunications tower associated buildings attachments and infrastructure whose purpose is to support the City’s public safety communications. It is located at 312 Mitchell behind the Main Fire Station. The final contract will also include options to add new constructed towers. The primary purpose of the tower is for public safety and municipal uses. However, the City reserves the right to co-locate other wireless communications equipment such as antennae, receivers and transmitters, to be used for the purpose of providing wireless communications services. A successful vendor will be selected to be the “Tower Manager” who will maintain the tower and related facilities attachments, install the City’s communications equipment, and manage the tower and related facilities connections for a period of two (2) years with four (4) one year renewals for a total of six (6).
