Summary of Specifications:
The City of Clovis as sponsor of a public use airport facility is soliciting qualification-based sealed proposals for selecting an on-call principal consultant to provide engineering services and related Incidental, Planning and Special Services at the Clovis Municipal Airport. Proposals will be accepted until Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. local time in the office of the Purchasing Agent located at 321 Connelly, P.O. Box 760, Clovis, NM 88102-0760. There will be a Pre-opening RFP meeting on April 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Assembly Room, City Hall. For vendors convenience this will be held in conjunction with RFP-06-0320-07 “General Engineering Services”. An evaluation review committee will review proposals in private and a recommendation will be made to the City Commission for contract award. The contract for said services shall be for a two (2) year period. At the end of that time and for a period of six (6) additional years the City shall have the yearly option of renewal or soliciting proposals for a new firm. This continuation of our selection process is intended to be in compliance with the FAA Advisory Circular entitled "Architectural Engineering and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects (AC, 150/5100-14D)
