RFP-03-4 - Jail Based Intensive Intervention Program

Summary of Specifications:
Chaves County received approval by the New Mexico DWI Grant Council on May 1, 2003 for 2002-03 Local DWI Distribution Funds for an approximate amount of $184,000. The grant application requires Chaves County to provide Coordination, Planning and Evaluation and to implement and conduct program efforts in the following areas: (1) Prevention; (2) Screening; (3) Intensive Supervision; and (4) Treatment. The application contained a funding allocation of $38,600 for the services of a Liaison Officer and Alcohol Counseling program within the Chaves County Detention Center and the Juvenile Detention Center. The County desires to hereby select and utilize the expertise of a Contractor to meet the stated requirements for the Jail Based Intensive Intervention Program.
