Specifications include, but are not limited to: Able to provide regular, frequent, and ongoing review and oversight of the claims process, which process includes, but is not limited to, the receipt, management, adjudication, and payment of claims; Cost effective by demonstrating an interest in the continued financial viability of the SHBP/SEHBP and quoting competitive fees and agreeing to be held accountable through performance and financial guarantees; Quality-focused demonstrating high levels of customer satisfaction; Able to serve in the best interests of the State, Participating Employers, and the thousands of Members covered under the SHBP and SEHBP; Able to work with and support SHBP/SEHBP vendors, including third party claims administrators, Network Providers, and navigation/advocacy Providers in the administration of the SHBP/SEHBP; Innovative in the use of data and analytics to improve the integrity of the SHBP/SEHBP and claims payment accuracy. Able to identify and eliminate systemic errors, recover overpayments, and ensure that only the required and appropriate amounts due and owing on claims are paid as a result of proper adjudication.
