It is the intent of these specifications to establish an understanding and to outline the Township of Verona’s requirements for Verona to contract with a Contractor to provide School Crossing Guards for all posts established by the Township of Verona for the school year starting September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019, with an option for a second school year if both parties are agreeable to the extension of the contract.

The Township of Verona, New Jersey shall receive sealed proposals at the Municipal Building, 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey, until 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers for Contract No. 18-13, SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD SERVICES.

Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and shall be addressed to the TOWNSHIP CLERK’S OFFICE and on or before the hour mentioned above. Envelope or Package must be clearly endorsed with “SEALED BID” and the contract number and name.
