The County is requesting proposals from Professional Engineers, licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, for the inspection of the designated rock slopes along Sussex Turnpike (CR 617) as well as a design to stabilize the rock slopes to prevent future rock falls. A locator map is included with this RFP showing the rock slope locations to be inspected and assessed for stabilization. The Consultant shall visit and become familiar with the Project before submitting a proposal. All local and state permit application fees shall be paid by the Consultant.
As outlined herein, the Consultant will perform all the necessary inspection, engineering design and calculations, preparation of supplementary specifications, construction drawings, obtain all NJDEP (if applicable), State & local permits to successfully stabilized the existing slope within the limits of the scope.
