Specifications include, but are not limited to: The chosen agency shall provide school-based Clinical Support Services designed to train and support teachers, classroom staff, and parents. Services provided shall include but shall not be limited to the following: Clinical Support Services professionals shall be assigned to the district. Clinical Support professionals shall be on site in the district five days a week during the 2023-2024 school year to provide on-site counseling during and after school hours including Saturday clinical support services to students. Teacher/staff and parent training shall focus on assessment and ways of managing therapeutic and clinical counseling services. The professionals will also be able to provide support for the student’s families and will be available to provide support for both parents and the students during school days, after school hours and on Saturdays. Individual and or group therapies will be needed for twenty hours per week for sixty-three weeks. (Psychologists, and Social Workers). The agency must have a school psychologist to provide school counseling and learning sessions individually, or in group during school, after school hours and on Saturdays when needed. The agency shall have three social workers during the school day, after school day and on Saturdays to provide counseling and learning sessions to support our students when needed. Teachers and staff shall be able to identify situations and problems that may affect students’ social, behavioral, and wellbeing of our students. Clinical Support professionals shall provide teachers/ staff and parents with the skills needed to address the problems creating negative emotional, behavioral health support. Reinforcement shall be provided throughout the school year to assist staff in developing and maintaining a positive clinical environment within the classrooms and schools. The agency should also make it possible to consult with the Psychiatrist concerning the students with trauma, explosive behaviors, school phobia, depression, anxiety etc if and when needed. The Professionals will be able to provide trainings to teachers during and after school hours, and the teachers will be able to receive stipends for attending the training. Monthly Conferences/debriefing with the other appropriate staff within the school shall be completed with the other professionals Proof of effective implementation of services from February to June shall be provided to the district.
