The County of Morris is soliciting proposals from Professional Engineering Consultants licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide Construction Inspection Services for the Replacement of Schooleys Mountain Road Bridge No. 1401-219 over Tributary to Musconetcong River in the Township of Washington, County of Morris, NJ.
The project is funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). All NJDOT guidelines/requirements will be followed during the replacement of Schooleys Mountain Road Bridge No. 1401-219.
"Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award."
The NJDOT will fund the construction and construction inspection of this bridge project; cost plus fixed fee with the NJDOT approved overhead rates and procedures are to be used when preparing the Cost Proposal
Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the respondent and the words “RFP 18-95 Construction Inspection Services for the Replacement of Schooleys Mountain Road Bridge No. 1401-219” addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris.
Separate sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris on August 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time in the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 517, fifth floor, Administration & Records Building, Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey for Engineering Design Services for the above named request for proposals.
NOTE: The cost proposal must be in a separate sealed envelope.
