Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Medicaid to Schools (MTS) system must be a web-based software system allowing the Manchester School District to collect, manage, and process School-Based Medicaid documents and transactions. The MTS system must include the ability to submit and receive electronic data files to the New Hampshire Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Health Enterprise Portal utilizing X12N standard format. New Hampshire MMIS system requirements are available on their website nhmmis.nh.gov/portals/wps/portal/EnterpriseHome. The MTS system provider must obtain State of New Hampshire approval of electronic signatures required on system documentation prior to submitting transactions to Medicaid. The MTS system must include the ability to perform Medicaid eligibility checks prior to processing transactions to MMIS. The MTS system must have the ability to perform and retain proof of monthly checks of service providers against the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) database located at oig.hhs.gov/exclusions/index.asp.
