Specifications include, but are not limited to: This bid request seeks collection service fees and transportation costs to a separately selected disposal facility for both solid waste and single-stream recycling. The City will be soliciting separate bids for disposal of both solid waste and recycling at a fully compliant facility in regards to all state and federal regulations. The City has a detailed, color-coded route map of the existing collection process (Attachment G). The intent is to keep the routes the same so residents experience collection of both solid waste and recycling on the same days they currently do. The City estimates it has about 7,800 current stops +/-. Dover remains one of the fastest growing communities in New Hampshire. Solid waste and single-stream recycling numbers for the last two fiscal years were: 4,374 tons of trash and 2,595 tons of recyclables in FY18; and 4,625 tons of trash and 2,382 tons of recyclables in FY19.
