Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nashua Technology Center (NTC), Nashua School District, New Hampshire is interested in procuring a high school teaching consultant for the planning, writing, mentoring, and development of industry partnerships for the NTC Manufacturing/Machining Program and for engineering and robotics classes, assistance with the development of strategies that will embed core math credits into NTC classes, and development of a manufacturing/machining curriculum. The primary goals for this project are: 1. Develop a curriculum for the Manufacturing/Machining program, as well as for the Engineering/Robotics classes. This includes, but is not limited to, developing lesson plans, assessments, and units, as well as working with the NTC teachers and administrators to create systems and strategies for embedding core math credit into classes. 2. Observe and mentor the teacher utilizing developed curriculum. 3. Act as a liaison with CTE and district administrators, potentially presenting information to the BOE or in other group situations. 4. Ensure that advisory boards are running and developed for the Manufacturing/Machining program. 5. Assist with and/or make recommendations about equipment and lab organization. 6. Ensure that stakeholders and industry partners are on board for the Manufacturing/Machining program, specifically to assist with the development of internships and other work based learning opportunities. 7. Develop a sustainable internal and regional marketing plan and activities for the manufacturing program.
