Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful candidates and their employees may not guide for mountain lions in the state of Nevada while they have an active mountain lion contract. Successful candidates will notify the Point of Contact (POC) and area biologist by phone or email within 48 hours of the lethal removal of a mountain lion. The contractor must check in the removed mountain lion carcass or head and hide with the Department within one week of removal. Successful candidates will mark the location where mountain lions are lethally removed with GPS coordinates documented with a photograph of the GPS screen showing the date, time and coordinate. These coordinates and photograph(s) must be provided to the POC and area biologist along with the additional take information within one week of lethal removal.
