Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work consists of installing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or ductile iron (DIP) pressure pipe at five locations in the City of Las Vegas and one location in Clark County. The first site installs 8-inch pipe in South 16th Street to replace the 6-inch asbestos cement pipe (ACP), between Charleston Boulevard and Mayfair Place, and in Mayfair Place east of 16th Street. The second site installs 8-inch pipe in North 8th Street between Ogden Avenue and Stewart Avenue; the existing 6-inch ACP in the alley west of 8th Street will be abandoned, and the existing services relocated. The third site installs 8-inch pipe in West Mesquite Avenue, connecting the existing 8-inch pipe stub located approximately 230-feet east of the center line of South Rancho Drive and the 8-inch pipe in Montrose Street, all within pressure zone 2300. The fourth site installs 8-inch pipe in Rip Van Winkle Lane between Matterhorn Way, to the south, and Matterhorn Way, to the north within pressure zone 2420. The fifth site installs 8-inch pipe in an alley connecting Roseridge Avenue and Bromley Avenue, west of Woodmount Drive; and abandons the 8-inch ACP pipe section entering 401 Light Beam Street. The sixth site installs 8-inch pipe in South Walnut Road between Welter Avenue and Boston Avenue.
