Specifications include, but are not limited to: Facilitate the standardization and improvement of existing interfaces between the UNITY system and other entities, thus making them more secure and easier to support over the long- term. Create a stable and robust foundation for future data sharing projects. Modernize and standardize data exchanges and provide a scalable and secure connectivity platform that will assist child welfare programs now and in the future. Improve operational efficiencies for Nevada’s child welfare services and interactions/integrations with local, state and federal agencies. Improve access to core and shared data. Establish the technology platform and frameworks for deploying national standards like the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM).
