Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is seeking the services of a consulting team to assist with a budget model redesign that will provide the University with an incentive-based resource allocation model. The university seeks a model that is simple, adaptive to the evolving mission of the University, more transparent, and effectively distributes decision making responsibility with the generation and investment of financial resources. The work will include development and testing of a pro forma budget model and build-out to demonstrate the model’s ability to drive continuous improvement by ensuring continuity to established guiding principles. Finally, the consulting team will partner with the Project Steering Committee and university leadership to build consensus on the budget model, including various revenue and cost allocation methodologies towards the end of its implementation.
