Specifications include, but are not limited to: •Review of the City's current transportation system throughout the City. The options for north-south and east-west transportation routes are somewhat limited within the City, andthere is no clearly defined requirements based on need for both on-street and off-streetparking. There are off-street parking requirements for all zoning districts as outlined in the Hastings City Code.•Propose options to improve both north-south and east-west traffic flow within the City taking into consideration the area of the City which has entertained the most growth is to the north towards Interstate 80.•Propose possible changes or modifications to the City's one-way street system in the downtown corridor.•Propose options to deal with the two railroads crossing the City (BNSF and UP) which have an effect on traffic patterns and blocking of intersections. There is a desire to implement quiet crossings for the BNSF rail traffic east and west through the City,especially in the downtown corridor.
