Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services requested from LES covers overhead and underground electric distribution design for lines 12.47kV and below, including new construction and rebuilds. The consulting engineer will work closely with LES’ Transmission & Distribution Design department to complete this design work. This design work will include: Identification and remediation of facilities that are at the end of their useful life, damaged, or otherwise no longer needed Specifying materials through LES’ Electronic Compatible Units software according to LES' standard specifications Identification of easement needs for new or relocated facilities Construction drawings meeting LES drawing standards, in AutoCAD format. This construction drawing will build off a base drawing provided by LES. Providing permitting support Coordination with other utilities and public entities as required LES will be responsible for providing the following: Remote access to LES software applications and information including Arc GIS, Electronic Compatible Units, standard material specifications, and other necessary information. All easement acquisition and property owner outreach A base map/drawing for each project in AutoCAD format showing the existing facilities. Fusing coordination Construction administration including answering questions and minor field changes Public outreach such as mailings and open houses Project staking for construction
