Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nebraska, Department of Roads (NDOR), is issuing this Request for Proposal for the purpose of selecting a qualified Contractor to provide On-Site Unarmed Uniformed Security Services. a. Contractor shall provide all appropriate and necessary management and supervision of all guards and shall be solely responsible for instituting and invoking disciplinary action of staff not in compliance with the requirements listed in this RFP as well as any other NDOR policy, rules and/or regulations. b. Contractor shall ensure all staff assigned under this contract have read, reviewed and verified they understand the requirements of the position as described in this RFP. c. Contractor will be responsible for the hiring and training of all guards, including any replacement of existing guards. Contractor shall ensure all assigned guards are trained before commencing work. Any and all costs associated with training will be the responsibility of the Contractor with no additional cost to the State. d. Contractor will provide proper supervision for all guards and will serve as a liaison between the Contractor and NDOR with respect to any and all issues, concerns, and relevant information including communicating NDOR policies and procedures to guard staff and enforcing those policies and procedures with respect to its guards.
