Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following procedures will be followed in the preparation and resurfacing of the gym floors: 1. All equipment (bleachers, etc.) that can be removed to the hallways or storage areas shall be removed by contractor. 2. All floors shall then be dusted. 3. All floors shall be wet screened with a buffer using an application of Shine All material, and all perimeter areas along walls will be sanded as needed by another means. 4. All excess materials shall be picked up with a wet vacuum. 5. All floors shall be damp mopped. 6. All walls shall be masked off to prevent any application of materials preventing discoloration or staining of walls. 7. All floors shall be pre-tacked with Pre-Game. 8. All floors shall have two (2) coats of 450 Gym Finish applied to manufacturer’s specifications. 9. All floors will be subject to inspection and approval following a twenty-four (24) hour period. 10. Must have prior experience resurfacing gym floors and must provide references of such work. All debris shall be cleaned up and removed on a daily basis. Contractor shall repair any damage to the owner’s property caused by this project. All materials shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer’s written instructions. Bidding companies must be qualified to complete the needed process.
