Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Vendor will be lead licensed with a minimum of five years experience servicing bullet traps and shooting ranges.2.Vendor will carry a minimum of one million dollars’worth of general liability insurance.3.Vendor will comply with all Federal, State, Local, EPA, and OSHA requirements and guidelines.4.Vendorshall provide unit pricing for cleaning as indicated for additional cleanings beyond the quantities indicated in this specification.5.Vendor will remove, package, and properly dispose of all lead contaminated filters changed during the process in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local Codes on both HVAC ventilation units; decontamination supplies; personal protective equipment; and lead contaminated waste generated during these cleanings. Note: OPD will temporarily store the waste containers while the vendor arranges for an authorized waste transporter for pick up.6.Vendor will supply all barrels, buckets, boxes, and containers required for each cleaning.7.Vendor will notify OPD when cleaning is completed and arrange for third party testing. Initial testing cost will be incorporated into the cleaning. If additional testing is required, this will be at the vendor’s expense.8.Vendor is responsible for hauling and properly disposing of hazardous lead contaminated waste generated from this project.Vendorshall log and keep a designated representative informed of disposal, date, material description, disposal location, and approximate material quantity.9.Remove and dispose of all lead collected from bullet trap collection systems.10.Clean, abate, and replace filters onHEPA“shop vacuums” used on the gun ranges.11.Filters to be provided by OPD12.All cleanings and filter changes will be scheduled at the rates bid by the vendor, as needed, between OPD and the vendor.13.Awarded vendor shall provide up to three references upon request.
