See list of OPS approved playground installation companies. Manufacturers of playground equipment meet the following requirements:1.Safety Standard: Provide playground equipment according to ASTM F 14872.Must be certified by the International Play Equipment Manufacturer's Association (IPEMA).3.Must be certified as an ISO 9001 company.B.Groups and Schools making a playground equipment purchase must contact Schoolhouse Planning for assistance in the development of the playground plans to meet the requirements detailed in this materials guideline.C.All playground improvements shall comply with all requirements of the most recent American Disabilities Act (ADA) Guide, Section 15.6 Play Areas. D.All playground improvements shall comply with all requirements of the most recent addition of the Public Playground Safety Handbook published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.E.All Playground Equipment and Surfacing including interlocking rubber tiles and the concrete base shall work together to provide impact absorption in accordance with ASTM F 1292-04 and Materials Guideline section 32 18 16 Synthetic Resilient Surfacing.
