Specifications include, but are not limited to: · The Contractor shall supply the University with cylinders. Based on historical usage the University will require between 80-200 cylinders at a time. Specific sizes are listed in the IFB. · Our cylinder needs change based on current academic term schedules. The contractoristo remove excess cylindersfrom ourinventory when not needed, including over extended breaks. Cylinder inventories should be reestablished one week prior to the start of a new academic term (August and January). · During peak times, Tri-mix and other gases may be needed on short notice. It is preferred that the gases be delivered not later than 10:00 am the following business day when needed. If the contractor cannot fulfill the request within twenty-four (24) hours of notification the University will take whatever measures necessary to fulfill their needs. · The University has an oxygen/acetylene manifold system in the tank holding pen at the airport campus. The contractor is to monitor the gas levels in the tanks and replace them as needed during the school year. · The contractor will deliver tanks to multiple areas on campus and track department usage for billing purposes. At the airport campus deliveries will be to the exterior holding pen for welding and interior labsfor auto, diesel, aviation, and machining. At the Donaldson campus delivery will occur only 1-2 times per year within the chemistry lab.
